How to play
ncar.science is a SimCity-style map of Boulder, Colorado, drawn in pixel art and lit by the real time of day. The Flatirons, the NCAR Mesa Lab, NIST and CU Boulder with Folsom Field are all on it, the menu bar shows the real weather, planes drift over town, and there is a live camera pointed at the Flatirons. It is a toy to explore rather than a game to win: scroll around, zoom in, and watch the town go about its day.
